That *extra bagel
1 bagel
1/2 small cucumber
2 schmears of cream cheese
A few slices of *smoked salmon
Liberal sprinkle of Get On Top
1 tbl fresh dill
Cut the bagel in half and lightly toast. Schmear with cream cheese and top with thinly sliced cucumbers. Layer smoked salmon and sprinkle with Get On Top and green onion.
If you’re feeling fancy, cure your own salmon in beetroot. In a food processor mix 2 roughly chopped beets 1 cup of salt, 1/2 cup of sugar, 4 teaspoon coriander, 4 teaspoon black peppercorns, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, and 1/4 cup of gin. Place the mix and a trimmed rectangle of salmon in a freezer bag and let sit for at least 24 hours (ideally 48 if you’re patient) in the fridge. Thinly slice.
